How to get a useful reply
Tell us your growing zone and what you’re trying to grow — “my peppers won’t germinate in zone 7b” beats “what’s the best seed” every time. The more specific the question, the more specific the answer. Variety suggestions are welcome too: tell us the variety, where you found it, and why it deserves a story card.
We don’t publish a phone number or address. Email is the fastest way to reach us.

How fast do you reply?
We read everything and reply as quickly as we can — usually within a few days. Detailed growing questions get better answers when you include your zone and setup.
Can I send photos of a plant problem?
You’re welcome to describe what you’re seeing in detail. For diagnosis-level plant problems, though, your local extension service will serve you better than an email shelf ever could — we’ll say so honestly when that’s the case.
Do you take guest posts or link exchanges?
